The 2024 BetMGM Poker Championship will be held at the ARIA Resort and Casino on June 7th through the 11th. We will be at the ARIA and will be playing in the BetMGM Championship so if you will be Las Vegas over those dates drop us an email if you would like to meet up. We are obviously hoping for the cards to be nice and make it to at least the final day. If you will also be playing we wish you luck as well, just not more than us!
As stated, the 2024 BetMGM Poker Championship starts on June 7th and is a $3,500 single buy-in no limit Texas Hold’em tournament. The prize pool is guaranteed to be at least $3 million, which is a nice increase over last years $2 million guarantee. With the $1 million increase, 1st place should pay well over the $560,000 last years winner took home.
If you are planning on playing in the 2024 BetMGM Poker Championship, be at the ARIA poker room by 12 noon on June 7th. Players will start with 50,000 in chips and blinds will increase every 50 minutes Day 1 & 2 and then every 75 minutes thereafter. Day 3 will conclude when the final table is set.
Although not scheduled for TV airtime, Day 3 and the final table will be streamed live on PokerGO. We are looking forward to playing in this years BetMGM Poker Championship and if you also like to play poker and can get to Las Vegas by June 7th it appears to be a good tournament to play in. The $3 million guarantee is a nice prize pool for a $3,500 buy-in.
We also believe the majority of players will be qualifying through online tournaments, so the competition should be a little weak. We hope to avoid the dreaded bad beat and by playing solid poker we expect to place fairly well. For players who have experience playing in live, in person tournaments verses playing online should fair well.
